This mixed-use development on Old Kent Road will provide 1100 homes, with buildings that range from 3 storey townhouses to apartment buildings up to 49 storeys high. In addition to this the development will feature 7 storeys of office space, double height retail units, a theatre & an extensive single storey basement. The challenges to construction of these buildings are constraints such as the buried cable tunnel that passed through the site, combined with crafting plans for a replacement tunnel for the Bakerloo Line extension.
